Founded at the Royal College of Music in London in 2009, i Flautisti share a common interest in performing early music as well as supporting the creation and production of new music for recorder quartet. Over the years they have premiered a variety of pieces written for them. Moreover, this ensemble released their debut CD "Sound Clouds" in 2013 as a milestone of their fruitful collaboration.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2019, i Flautisti released their second CD 'Douce Dame Jolie' by the Czech label Supraphon.

i Flautisti have performed in many renowned festivals in the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. They have been broadcast live on BBC Radio 3's In Tune, The Early Music Show, and Radio 4's Woman's Hour.

The ensemble's energy combined with a wealth of teaching experience led to many workshops for all levels of recorder players in the Czech Republic, England and Austria. Their enthusiasm and liveliness are in themselves key to their innate ability to inspire the next generation of recorder players.
